It would likely take a Havenstein injury for Bruss to win the job, but his NFL future may ultimately be at tackle rather than guard.

With the departure of Austin Corbett, Bruss, a third-round pick from Wisconsin who spent the majority of his time at right tackle, may be asked to shift over to guard given his smaller size and limited reach. Despite those slight dings on his resume, Bruss is an athletic lineman with impressive speed and could work his way into a starting role quickly.
