The Falcons released Polite on Wednesday, the team’s official site reports.

ANALYSIS
Polite was an undrafted free agent in 2004 by the Cowboys. He also spent time with the Bears, Dolphins, and Patriots before signing as a free agent with the Falcons earlier this year. He played in six games this season before being released. The Falcons picked up Mike Cox to replace Polite at fullback.

Polite should once again be the lead battering ram/fullback for the Dolphins again this season.

Polite is the definition of a blocking fullback. Every now and again they will throw him a bone and let him carry or catch the ball, but those opportunities are few and far between.

Polite has little to no fantasy value as he will mainly be used as a battering ram to open up holes for the Dolphins' running game.
