Malcolm Johnson

Johnson was drafted by the Browns in the sixth round out of Mississippi, where he played four seasons and was elected as a team captain. He'll compete in a crowded group of tight ends, but whether or not he makes the final roster will come down to his versatility. The Mississippi State product can play both the tight end and full back positions, and should be able to contribute on special teams as well. He posted impressive numbers in his final collegiate season, collecting 79 catches for 1,148 yards and one touchdown. However, until Johnson earns a better-defined role, there likely won’t be much fantasy utility to find.
