Cornerback has been an area of weakness for the Bears, and the team used free agency to bring in Cooper on a three-year deal, which was made possible by a career-high 69 tackles and four interceptions for the Cardinals last season. Of course, he received so much attention due to the presence of Patrick Peterson, but if he can fend off just one of Kyle Fuller or Prince Amukamara, Cooper would have in hand another opportunity to be an IDP factor.

Cooper started four games for the Chiefs in 2014, but his unimpressive play and multiple offseason additions at the position leave him on the bubble for a roster spot in 2015.

Cooper, who won the Chiefs' rookie of the year award in 2013, played in all 16 games last season, starting six, while recording 44 tackles and three interceptions. Following the release of Brandon Flowers, Cooper enters camp with an opportunity to claim a starting cornerback role with the team.
