Light announced his retirement Wednesday, NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Light, who was with the team since 2001, was part of three Super Bowl victories. While the team relied on him for quite a while to protect QB Tom Brady's blind side, it's expected that Nate Solder—a second-year player—will take over his starting left tackle job.
