                Let go by Cardinals
Arizona released Crabtree on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
				ANALYSIS
Crabtree appeared in two games for the Cardinals, amassing four catches on five targets for 22 yards over 32 snaps on offense. It seemed the veteran was entrenched in the team's depth chart behind Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk and Damiere Byrd, leaving him little with which to produce fantasy value. Crabtree will now have to find another opportunity elsewhere.

How do Michael Crabtree's measurables compare to other wide receivers?

This section compares his draft workout metrics with players at the same position. The bar represents the player's percentile rank. For example, if the bar is halfway across, then the player falls into the 50th percentile for that metric and it would be considered average.

It was a tale of two seasons for Crabtree in 2018. With long-time QB Joe Flacco directing the offense through Week 9, Crabtree was targeted between five and 12 times in each game while surpassing 50 receiving yards on five occasions. Thereafter, rookie Lamar Jackson handled most of the reps under center, and Crabtree responded by reaching those numbers one and zero times, respectively. Upon his release in the offseason, Crabtree played the waiting game and eventually met with Cardinals officials in early August, only to leave without a contract. Injuries whittled down that receiving corps in the ensuing weeks, and again Arizona came calling, officially inking him to a deal. Crabtree joins Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk as the top three wide receivers in new coach Kliff Kingsbury's Air Raid, under which the former played in college at Texas Tech.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
    Could be considered by Patriots
The Patriots could consider adding Crabtree as a depth option at wide receiver, Nick O'Malley of Masslive.com reports.
				ANALYSIS
With Julian Edelman tending to a thumb injury and Demaryius Thomas bouncing back from an Achilles' issue, the Patriots could take a flyer on Crabtree, who remains unsigned with all NFL training camps now underway. In the past, the Patriots have brought the likes of Reggie Wayne, Torry Holt and Chad Ochocinco into the mix for looks later in their careers, so kicking the tires on Crabtree - who turns 32 in September -- is something the team might consider, assuming it's on team-friendly terms.
