Kasa's lone catch as a rookie -- a nine-yard touchdown reception -- came with 37 seconds remaining in the Raiders' final game of the season. Fellow first-year tight end Michael Rivera saw most of the reps after David Ausberry went down with injury. Rivera has better hands, but Kasa may actually be the more well-rounded talent at the position, and while Ausberry is now healthy, there will likely be more snaps available for Kasa with Jeron Mastrud leaving for Chicago.

With the two most tenured tight ends on the Raiders' roster (Richard Gordon and David Ausberry) combining for just nine catches last season, it's not hard to imagine the rookie Kasa emerging as the top pass-catching option at the position for Oakland. Kasa only played one season at tight end for Colorado (he was a DE before then), but he managed to produce even with limited opportunities (15.6 YPC, three touchdowns on 25 catches). He also flashed some impressive speed at the Combine for a guy who's 6-6, running a 4.71 40-yard dash.
