Kreutz has decided to leave the Saints, effective immediately, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. "He decided, 'If I can't bring that same passion every day to work, I'm not gonna just sit here and collect a paycheck,'" his agent Mark Bartelstein said.

His agent says he hasn't decided to officially retire, but plans to walk away from the game and spend time with his family. This is a shocking development for New Orleans' offensive line, and perhaps the Saints will be able to talk him into returning.
