Johnson has been mentioned alongside Leonard Williams and Robby Anderson as potential trade candidates on the team, but Johnson will be the most difficult of the trio to move. His current contract has him making five figures through 2022, with a $18.5 million dead cap hit in the 2022 season. While the 29-year-old cornerback made his first interception of the year last week against New England, that's been one of the lone bright spots for an expensive player who has been frequently beaten in coverage. He's dealt with hamstring and ankle injuries for much of the year, and to make matters worse, had his role reduced to the point where he saw just 12 total snaps in Weeks 2 and 3 combined. A change of scenery might be necessary at this point, and the asking price should be low given the surrounding circumstances.
