Demps will be the starting free safety for the Texans after strong play down the stretch last season. He doesn't rack up many sack or picks, but should provide worth with his tackle totals.

Demps will likely hold off James Butler for the starting strong safety spot. Demps is a decent tackler, but isn't overly fast, and lacks the size to deliver the bone-jarring hit. Still, he's good for some tackles and an odd pick or two.

Demps will be the Giants starting free safety. As such, he could have some value as an IDP, especially if the team's first-rate pass rush forces opposing quarterbacks into bad throws. Strong safety Gabril Wilson has more speed, however, and is likely to make more tackles.

Starting safety opposite Ed Reed.

Demps will enter the season as the starting free safety for the Ravens.
