Zach Vigil

A rash of injuries prompted the Redskins to find outside help at linebacker late in the 2017 season, and Vigil was one of the main sources of relief. With both starters at inside linebacker, Zach Brown and Mason Foster, out of the lineup, Vigil displayed his potential as an IDP prospect while averaging 11.8 tackles over the team's final three games. However, both Brown and Foster re-signed with Washington this offseason, leaving Vigil without a clear path to regular playing time on defense in 2018. Leave him on the waiver wire early on, but keep Vigil on the watch list in case the injury bug strikes the Redskins' linebacking corps once again.
