Tipton, an undrafted free agent, rushed for 1,492 yards and 19 touchdowns in 13 games for Central Michigan in 2012, but played just five games last season, due to a broken ankle early in the year (he did return to rush for 380 yards and seven TDs in the last three games). He's a long shot to make the roster, but all the top running backs for the Colts are returning from injuries or underperforming seasons.
