Faxon is using his one-time exemption earned by being in the top-50 career earnings to tee it up in 2010 on the PGA Tour.
ANALYSIS
Faxon is 48 and has suffered lingering injuries in the past two years - he made only three starts in 2008 and made five cuts, no top 10s or top 25s, in 23 starts in 2009. Faxon still has putting skills so there is hope but it is distant.

2006 Fantasy Outlook
Early on Faxon struggled to find his game, and if not for a late-season victory at the Buick Championship he would have been a great pick for 2006. He won, however, and he's not a bargain at $1.7 million. Throw in knee surgery in September and the pick looks even worse. It's hard to put a dollar amount on his earnings this year because there is no way to know how he will recover from his surgery. The best bet is to stay away from drafting him in a salary cap league. In a regular league, he might be worth a late-round selection, but nothing more.
