Michael Sim

Sim did everything except win last season on the PGA TOUR. By season's end, he had one runner-up finish and two third-place finishes. Sim appears to be one of the better up-and-comers on the PGA TOUR. Only 26, he should be hitting his prime soon. Sim is shaping up to be a great value pick, as he'll likely outperform his price. Although Sim struggled getting to the green last season, once there he was among the best on the PGA TOUR, ranking 11th in putts per green.

This Aussie can flat out play and has a swagger that will attract some attention. He won three times last year on the Nationwide and got immediate membership to the PGA, but was able to gain entry to only a couple of events at the end of the year because of his low status. Sim will not have to be a part of the Q School/ Nationwide re-shuffle in 2010. There is a lot of hype surrounding this guy as we head into the 2010 season, but he has the game to back it up. Sim moved from 312th to 44th in the 2009 final Official World Golf Rankings, a rare accomplishment that he earned on the Nationwide Tour.
