Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Joseph Bramlett
Joel Dahmen has finished near the top of the leaderboard several times at this event, and Ryan Pohle is going to gamble that he does so again.
Kramer Hickok has not had much success in recent months, but Ryan Pohle sees enough reason to throw a few bucks in his direction this week.
Patrick Reed has not been performing up to par of late, but according to Len Hochberg, he still deserves a look in this week's contests on DraftKings.
Sam Ryder's stats say his results should be better, and he is one of three minimum-priced players Bryce Danielson suggests going with in this week's contests on Yahoo.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
Bramlett didn't advance to the FedEx Cup Playoffs after earning his PGA Tour card back for the first time since 2011, but he did notch a top-10 at the Puerto Rico Open to go along with three additional top-25s. Eight missed cuts in 18 starts proved costly, though he ranked 25th in GIR percentage and 28th in proximity from the fairway. Bramlett also tallied back-to-back top-3s at the Korn Ferry Tour's Korn Ferry Challenge and King & Bear Classic in June.
Bramlett was a rookie on the PGA Tour in 2011 and that season did not go well. Bramlett finished well outside the top 125, and he's spent the last eight seasons trying to get back. He did just enough in 2018-19 to find his way back to the PGA Tour, but unless he improves his game, he'll have a hard time staying there. Bramlett hasn't had a lot of success on the Korn Ferry Tour the last eight seasons, it's hard to imagine he'll have a lot of success on the PGA Tour this season.
Bramlett enters the PGA TOUR fresh from college, which worked out fine for fellow Stanford grad Tiger Woods. Bramlett, though, likely will find his first venture into professional golf a little more difficult. He becomes just the second African American currently on the PGA Tour. Bramlett helped Stanford win the NCAA men's team title in 2007.
