Palmer announced he would play in this year's Masters after the Augusta National Golf Club decided against changing its practice and will now allow unqualified past champions over 65 years old to play in the tournament.

Palmer announced that Friday's round of golf would be his last at the Masters.

Palmer said he can't guarantee that he will play in his own PGA Tour event, the Bay Hill Invitational, in March and is thinking of quiting competitive golf, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Arnold Palmer, upset by his +21 total at the U.S. Senior Open, is considering giving up competative golf.
