Burns withdrew from this weekend's John Deere Classic.

Burns failed to earn his PGA Tour card in qualifying school, the Associated Press reports.

Burns did not compete at the Masters tournament. In his last start (at the BellSouth Classic at TPC Sugarloaf, in Duluth, GA) he finished T45.

Although Burns has made four straight cuts at the Buick Invitational, he's only finished in the Top 20 once.

Burns capped a fairy tale week in an appropriate place Sunday at the Disney Classic, overcoming the lowest final round of Tiger Woods' career to earn his first PGA Tour victory.
