Early on Faxon struggled to find his game, and if not for a late-season victory at the Buick Championship he would have been a great pick for 2006. He won, however, and he's not a bargain at $1.7 million. Throw in knee surgery in September and the pick looks even worse. It's hard to put a dollar amount on his earnings this year because there is no way to know how he will recover from his surgery. The best bet is to stay away from drafting him in a salary cap league. In a regular league, he might be worth a late-round selection, but nothing more.

Brad Faxon: Out 4-to-5 Months With Torn ACL

Faxon will be out four to five months have having surgery to repair a torn ACL. "When I woke up they told me they had to totally repair the ACL," Faxon told the Providence Journal. "They had to do two bone graphs, part of the tibia was exposed, cartilage was floating around."
