A former collegiate All-American at Ole Miss where he won the 2017 Haskins Award, Thornberry is finally slated to embark on his PGA Tour journey as a 27-year-old rookie in 2025 after winning the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in early October. He posted only two top-10s across 25 KFT starts in 2024, but he ranked seventh in putting average and 16th in total birdies. Thornberry closed with a three-under 68 on Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship to finish 12-under and tied for 20th.

ANALYSIS
Thornberry broke 70 all four days at the Black Desert Resort, ultimately ranking top-15 among the field in GIR percentage, scrambling and bogey avoidance in the process. He's now made the cut in three consecutive starts dating to the Procore Championship, and the T20 marks his second top-25 result of the year.
