2026 Fantasy Outlook
Koepka will return to the PGA Tour for the 2026 season via the new Returning Member Program. Only players who have won a major or THE PLAYERS Championship from 2022-25 are eligible. Koepka opted out of the final year of his LIV Golf contract in December after winning five times on the breakaway tour. As part of the terms of his reinstatement, Koepka will be required to play at least 15 events in 2026. He will also not be able to accept a sponsor's exemption for any of the eight Signature Events, and instead have to earn a spot with his play. Koepka will be a difficult player to project for fantasy, as if he can't earn his way into any of the signature events his upside is severely limited. That said, he is eligible for all four majors in 2026. Koepka sits outside the Top 150 in the DataGolf rankings, so he will need to step up his play. Read Past Outlooks
T14 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson
Koepka carded a three-under 68 in the final round of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish tied with Taylor Moore and Blades Brown for 14th.
ANALYSIS
Koepka opened the tournament strongly with a bogey-free, eight-under 63 first round that included an eagle on the par-5 12th hole and three-straight birdies from holes four to six. That put him one shot back of the clubhouse lead, though in a low-scoring event, Koepka could not maintain his spot near the top of the table after carding scores of 69-66-68 over the final three rounds. He finished the tournament T8 in scrambling, T9 in both bogeys and driving distance, 15th in SG: Off-the-Tee and in the top-30 in GIR, SG: Approach and SG: Around-the-Green. It's the fifth top-15 finish of the season for Koepka, though his performance at TPC Craig Ranch could be seen as a disappointment given the weakened field outside of Scottie Scheffler, Si Woo Kim and Jordan Spieth. Koepka will tee off next week at the Charles Schwab Challenge, where he finished T32 in 2020 and solo second in 2018.

A five-time major champion, Koepka headed into 2024 on the heels of a strong 2023 year. He finished T2 with Phil Mickelson at The Masters, then proceeded to capture his third PGA Championship title. While he managed to make the cut in all four majors in 2024, Koepka failed to crack the top-25 in any of those events, with his T26 at the PGA Championship and U.S. Open Championship being his two best finishes. As for the LIV Golf League, the Smash GC captain added to his trophy collection with victories in Singapore and Greenbrier, and he leads all LIV Golf players with five individual trophies. Koepka will be in the field for all four majors for the 2025 season.
