Gavins won the Ras Al Khaimah Championship by one stroke after shooting a three-under 69 in the final round.

ANALYSIS
What a range of emotions just one in just one hole for Gavins. He stood on the 18th tee with a two-shot lead that was then stretched to three with Alexander Bjork bogeyed in the group ahead. Gavins would end up putting his tee shot in the water. He then re-teed and found the fairway. Gavins decided to give it a go from 286 yards away, but found the water right once again. He was able to take a drop 50 yards short of the green and chip one up to 26 feet. The Englishman was then able to hole it for one of the best gutsiest double-bogeys you will ever see to keep that one shot lead. Zander Lombard behind was unable to convert his eagle putt to tie and Gavins would win for the second time on the DP World Tour. He moves up to 7th in the Race to Dubai standings.
