2026 Fantasy Outlook

Ford will have status in 2026 thanks to topping last season's PGA Tour University Rankings. The UNC alum made 13 starts on the PGA Tour after his senior season ended. It was mostly disappointment with nine missed cuts, but he did flash potential at the Bank of Utah Championship finishing T3. The experience of having to travel around the country and play in all these PGA Tour events over the second half of 2025 should help him feel more prepared for his rookie season. That said, apart from behing a plus driver, there wasn't a lot in the rest of his game to give you a lot of confidence heading into 2026. Read Past Outlooks

Ford fired a seven-under 65 on Sunday to surge into a share of 13th place at The American Express.

ANALYSIS
Ford played with Blades Brown the first three rounds, and while the 18-year-old stole most of the headlines, it was Ford who ultimately finished a shot ahead after 72 holes. Ford made up 24 spots in the final round with his 65 on Sunday. It was a struggle the second half of 2025 for the top player on the PGA Tour University rankings outside of a T3 in Utah, but he gained a lot of great experience and seems to be starting to put things together. Ford is fully exempt on Tour this year and being able to stay in the Top 100 would be very impressive for his rookie season. This is a great way to get things rolling in January. Ford will tee it up at Torrey Pines next week.
