LaCroix carded a five-under 65 in the final round of the Investec South African Open Championship to finish in a three-way tie for second with Francesco Laporta and Hennie Du Plessis.

ANALYSIS
LaCroix was even through the first two rounds but surged over the weekend with rounds of 64 and 65 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, and his top-3 finish earned him an exemption to The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in mid-July. LaCroix has now finished in the top-10 in each of his last two DP World Tour outings after finishing T24 or worse in each of his five prior outings. LaCroix is not in the field for next week's Joburg Open.
