Svensson had five top-5 finishes on the DP World Tour last season and closed with a T7 at the DP World Tour Championship to secure a PGA Tour card for 2025. The Swede won for the first time on the DPWT last March at the Singapore Classic. Svensson is one of the longest drivers out there and also showed solid touch ranking top-40 in scrambling and SG: Putting. Svensson saved his best for Sunday, closing with the low round of the day which was highlighted by an eagle and two birdies in the final three holes to climb up the leaderboard. Despite losing three strokes on the greens for the week, he led the field in the category Sunday and ranked fourth in SG: Tee-to-green for the tournament. Svensson's fourth top-20 of the year moves him to 112th in the FedExCup Standings.
