Green has been bothered by a mysterious ailment in recent months that effects his vision and prevents him from playing, the Danbury News-Times reports. He withdrew from the Barclays Classic after just six holes in the second round after shooting a 3-over-par 74 on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
He hasn't made any money in his last 16 Nationwide or PGA Tour events as he struggles with this illness and back pain resulting from arthritis in the spine. He'll play the John Deere Classic (July 4-10) and the B.C. Open (July 11-17) and the International. However, having used a medical exemption last season, his tenure on the PGA Tour is in danger.
