Roy tied for 12th during his only PGA Tour start in 2024 at the Valspar Championship back in March, when he ranked third among the field in driving distance en route to 18 total birdies and an eagle at the Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course. His Korn Ferry Tour campaign included a pair of runner-up finishes at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic in January and the Albertsons Boise Open in August, ultimately landing 13th on the Points List. Roy's closing round was highlighted by birdies on three of the final four holes as he tied for the low round of the day to climb 38 spots on the leaderboard. He led the field Sunday by gaining over five strokes on the greens and ranked fourth in SG: Putting for the tournament. Roy will need to climb six spots in the FedExCup Standings at next week's Wyndham Championship in order to make the playoffs.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
A runner-up finish at the Wichita Open in mid-June sparked a streak of six consecutive cuts made for Roy to close out his 2022 regular season on the Korn Ferry Tour ranked just inside the top 25 of the points list, thus earning a PGA Tour card for the first time in his career. The 32-year-old also ranked top 20 on the KFT in both GIR percentage and birdie average. He led the Korn Ferry Tour in par-5 scoring as well, so Roy could be a name to monitor as a potential punt play in daily fantasy contests early in the 2022-23 season.
