2026 Fantasy Outlook
Expectations were very high for Aberg after his stellar 2024 where he collected nine top-10 finishes and ranked seventh on the PGA Tour in SG: Total. After an early victory at The Genesis Invitational, it looked like the progression was going into continue. Unfortunately, he took a step back with just one top-10 finish over his next 11 starts. Aberg rallied at the end of the year with much more consistent play, but he'd probably say he expects better going into 2026. The Swede was outside the top 40 in SG: Total in 2025 on the PGA Tour. Still just 26 years of age, when Aberg's swing is dialed in it's a beautiful thing to watch. Expect him to return to being amongst the top players in the world in 2026, and a threat to win The Masters where he's finished 2nd and 7th in his two career starts. Read Past Outlooks
T11 at FedEx Open de France
Aberg carded a five-under 66 in the final round of the FedEx Open de France on the DP World Tour to finish tied for 11th with Joe Dean.

Aberg carded five-under rounds twice in four days at Le Golf National, though he recorded four double bogeys over the course of the tournament, significantly hurting his finish on the leaderboard. The 26-year-old Swede has finished T27-T11 in his two outings on the DPWT since the end of the PGA Tour season, though he'll have at least one week off as he's not listed in the field for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship nor Bank of Utah Championship.

Aberg brought momentum into 2024 after topping the PGA Tour University Rankings in 2023 and notching his first PGA Tour win at the RSM Classic. While he didn't find the win column this past season, he flashed the consistency that will likely define his career racking up eight top-10s, 14 top-25s and only two missed cuts in 20 starts. The frustrating part for Aberg is that both of those missed cuts came in majors, however. One thing important to mention is that Aberg played on a torn meniscus for roughly half of 2024. After having surgery in the fall, he should be fully healthy going into 2025 and ready to start competiting for wins in the biggest events. Aberg's ball-striking was remarkable in 2024 gaining strokes off the tee in all but three events and on approach in all but two. If he can continue to develop his short game, there's nothing stopping Aberg from being amongst the top dogs on the PGA Tour for years to come.
