2025 Fantasy Outlook
For the second year in a row a Hojgaard tops the Race to Dubai Top 10 eligibility rankings. Twin brother Nicolai got his PGA Tour card last year, while Rasmus was the first man out of that top-10. That could have broke him, but Hojgaard put his head down and had a fantastic season. The Dane racked up six top-5s and 14 top-25s. He also got his fifth DP World Tour win at the Irish Open. Hojgaard is one of the longest hitters out there and he also ranked top-20 in SG: Approach and SG: Putting. Claims Ryder Cup spot
Hojgaard claimed one of the six automatic qualifying spots for the European Ryder Cup Team following his 13th place finish at the Betfred British Masters.
ANALYSIS
Hojgaard came into the week knowing that a top-25 finish would likely be enough to notch a spot for the Ryder Cup on points and he was able to do just that. It was a little up-and-down throughout, but the Dane was able to hold strong and pull it off. Hojgaard was coming off a runner-up finish last week at the Danish Golf Championship, which really helped from a points standpoint. He was at the Ryder Cup last time around in Rome in 2023, but he was there supporting his brother Nicolai. Now Rasmus will get the chance to compete at Bethpage where his power should be able to shine. Hojgaard will tee it up again next week at the Omega European Masters.
