Fantasy managers looking to tinker with their rosters will benefit from zeroing in on specific categories. Whether you are looking for long-term fits or short-term options, there should be a plethora of potential pickups to help your squads.

Let's get into this week's suggestions for your consideration.

Travis Sanheim, D, Flyers (30% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/Blocks

Sanheim is off to a hot start in 2025-26, registering one goal, three assists, six shots on net, 12 blocked shots and four hits through five appearances this season. His three-game point streak came to an end in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over Minnesota, but he earned two shots, two blocks and three hits in the contest. He has averaged a career-high 27:16 of ice time per game while seeing action in all situations. Philadelphia plays three times, including twice at home, this week.

Jake Neighbours, LW/RW, Blues (29% rostered) for Goals/Points/Shots/Hits

Neighbours has four goals, one assist, eight shots and 15 hits across five contests this campaign. While his 50.0 shooting percentage isn't sustainable, he should remain an integral part of the St. Louis offense. He has played alongside Robert Thomas for most of the season. The 23-year-old Neighbours had 27 goals in 2023-24 and 24 assists in 2024-25, totals that make for a decent step up for him to built upon this year. He's a good bet to do just that while topping 130 shots and flirting with 200 hits. The Blues play three times this week.

Jake Allen,

Jake Allen, G, Devils (23% rostered) for Starts/Saves/Wins

Allen has earned a 2-0-0 record with a 1.87 GAA and a .934 save percentage through three appearances this season. He had to leave his first start early because of a cramping issue, but he has won two straight outings after Jacob Markstrom went down with a lower-body injury. The Devils announced last Wednesday that Markstrom would be out for a couple of weeks, putting Allen in the spotlight as the team's No. 1 option between the pipes. The 35-year-old Allen might share starts with backup Nico Daws during a crowded four-game week for New Jersey, but the veteran puck-stopper should see the bulk of the playing time while Markstrom is unavailable.

Conor Garland, RW, Canucks (17% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/PP

Garland has accumulated one goal and four assists during a three-game point spree. He has six points, 19 shots on target, five hits and three blocks over six games this season. Garland reached the 50-point plateau for the second time in his career last campaign, but his current pace indicates he could move ahead of that mark in 2025-26. Even if he slows down, and there could be periods when he does, he should have a larger rostered percentage. Garland logs big minutes in all situations while seeing action on the first line and top power-play combination.

Zach Benson, LW, Sabres (14% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/PP

Benson missed the first three games of the season after being struck by a puck during a practice session before the start of the season. He made an impact in his return against Ottawa on Wednesday, providing four assists in an 8-4 win. He also dished a helper in Buffalo's 3-0 victory over Florida on Saturday. Benson has two power-play assists, one shorthanded helper, four shots, one block and two hits. He has been a productive member of the Sabres' top line, and getting him back has coincided not only with the team getting some wins but also scoring more goals. The 20-year-old Benson has breakout potential in 2025-26, and he should be a solid pickup during a four-game week for Buffalo.

Jakub Dobes, G, Canadiens (13% rostered) for Starts/Saves/Wins

Dobes has been superb when called upon this campaign, posting a 2-0-0 record while stopping 47 of 50 shots for a 1.46 GAA and a .940 save percentage. He went through some consistency issues across 16 appearances in the 2024-25 season, but he also got off to a superb start. With Montreal playing four times in six days this week, both netminders could play twice. Still, even if Sam Montembeault starts three times, Dobes could face Calgary on Wednesday in the first half of a back-to-back situation in Alberta.

Dawson Mercer, C/RW, Devils (11% rostered) for Goals/Points/Shots/Blocks

Mercer didn't find the scoresheet in New Jersey's season opener, but he has three goals and two assists during a four-game point streak. He has generated a power-play tally, six shots, eight blocks and three hits over that period. Mercer is in a good spot to succeed this campaign if he stays on the second line alongside Nico Hischier. They have displayed some early-season chemistry, which bodes well for Mercer, who amassed 27 goals and 56 points in 82 games during his sophomore season in 2022-23. He could be a superb long-term fit, and he makes for a solid addition during a busy four-game week for the Devils.

Shane Wright, C, Kraken (6% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots

Wright has amassed two goals and two assists during his three-game point streak. He has two power-play points (one goal, one assist), 11 shots and three hits during that span. Wright has averaged a career-high 15:06 of ice time per game this season while topping 16 minutes in each of his last two appearances. Wright reached 44 points in the 2024-25 campaign, and he could surpass his offensive totals this year. The 21-year-old forward is heating up and should be a solid pickup with a four-game week for Seattle on tap.

Emmitt Finnie, C/LW, Red Wings (3% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/Hits

Finnie erupted for two goals, one assist, four shots and four hits in Sunday's 4-2 win over Edmonton. The talented rookie has five points, 12 shots and 21 hits through five outings this season. He has been playing on the top line with Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond. Finnie's ice time has been gradually increasing, and he logged a season-high 19:25 of action in Sunday's breakthrough effort. Despite being a seventh-round pick in 2023, he is showcasing considerable upside, especially if he continues to rack up hits while contributing offensively. Detroit has three games scheduled this week.

Jeff Skinner, LW, Sharks (2% rostered) for Goals/Points/Shots

Skinner is off to a great start with San Jose this season, collecting three goals, one assist, 13 shots and four hits in five games. His ice time has been on the rise, and he could increase his fantasy appeal by a wide margin if he secures a spot on the top line with Macklin Celebrini. The 33-year-old Skinner was a 40-goal scorer once, and he has potted 30-plus goals on five other occasions. He has the potential to be a solid, under-the-radar pickup during a four-game road trip for the Sharks this week.
