Anderson has a lot of promise, but is unlikely to find himself making a NHL appearance this season.
At age 19, Anderson is the youngest goalie prospect in the Sharks’ system. Last season, while stopping pucks for the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors (OHL), he posted a 38-10-1 record to complement a 2.36 goals-against average and .911 save percentage. The kid has a bright future, but he’ll need to continue paying his dues outside of the NHL.
