2012 Fantasy Outlook
Bystrom fell to the 43rd spot in the 2011 draft where he was picked up by Dallas. He quickly signed an entry-level contract and has been assigned to MODO of the SEL. We'll have a better idea of his NHL-readiness once he comes stateside in a year or two, but he projects as a skilled, puck-moving defenseman who could eventually slot in on the second pair.
