Cole Smith Injury: Moved to IR

Smith (upper body) was shifted to injured reserve Friday.

Considering Smith is already expected to be sidelined for 3-6 weeks, the decision to place him on injured reserve shouldn't come as a surprise. In his 13 appearances this year, the 30-year-old winger managed three goals, 18 shots and 35 hits while averaging 13:26 of ice time.
