Allen will guard the road goal against the Blue Jackets on Monday, according to Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.

Allen will get his first start of the season after Jacob Markstrom went 1-1-0 against Carolina and Tampa Bay to open the 2025-26 campaign. The 35-year-old Allen posted a 13-16-1 record with four shutouts, a 2.66 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 31 regular-season appearances in 2024-25.
