Jake Oettinger News: Handling backup duty

Oettinger will be the backup netminder for Casey DeSmith in the Stars' home game versus the Oilers on Tuesday.

Oettinger was away from the team Monday to attend the birth of his child. However, he has since rejoined the Stars and will be in uniform Tuesday. Expect Oettinger to be back between the pipes as soon as Thursday's game versus the Ducks.
