Jamie Benn Injury: Begins skating Friday

Benn (upper body) started skating individually Friday, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Benn is returning from surgery to repair a collapsed lung. The 36-year-old will still need to advance through practices with his teammates, and it's unclear when he'll be ready for that step. Once healthy, Benn figures to occupy a middle-six role for the Stars.
