2023 Fantasy Outlook
Parssinen made a good first impression with six goals, 19 assists, 49 shots on goal and 76 hits in 45 games last season. He saw time as a top-line forward, even occasionally at center, but he'll likely be more firmly in the middle six with the addition of Ryan O'Reilly in the offseason. Parssinen was a seventh-round pick in 2019, so his ascent to the NHL is notably quick, but that shouldn't discount his potential. The forward should get a look at power-play time, and his firm physical edge could help him maintain fantasy value as a depth option in 12-plus-team formats.
