Mitch Marner News: Breaks through with two goals

Marner's first goal was just 46 seconds into the game, and he added a power-play tally late in the middle frame to stretch the Golden Knights' lead to 5-1. The dynamic winger had been all playmaking to begin his Vegas career, but he showed Saturday the kind of shot that has seen him reach the 25-goal mark in five of his nine NHL campaigns. He's at eight points (two on the power play) with 14 shots on net, five hits, four blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across six appearances.
