Tristen Nielsen News: Heads to minors

Nielsen was returned to AHL Colorado on Saturday.

The Avalanche simply wanted another option for Saturday's preseason finale against Dallas, so Nielsen's latest stint with the big club lasted for less than 24 hours. The 25-year-old is expected to spend most, if not all, of the 2025-26 regular season in the minors.
