If the Blackhawks are looking for experience, Cullimore might get a bid on the opening day roster. With the team in salary cap hell, they are going to be much younger with some inexpensive pieces on the ice so there might be a need for Cullimore.
Is a good skate for 6-foot-5, 244 pound defender. He will not get you a lot of points and penalty minutes. Had a goal and six assists along with 53 penalty minutes in 54 games in 2005-06 season as he missed some time with a groin injury. He also tore cartilage in his left knee near the end of the season.
Cullimore is a great stay-at-home, shut-down defenseman so not an offensive, defensemen at all. He does not have a lot of penalty minutes either, which will give you a lot of minutes on the ice.
