Gagnon led the Texas Stars of the AHL in goal scoring and could emerge as a fourth line center option in Dallas with a solid training camp and preseason. He's not going to be asked to center a scoring line however, and his upside would seem to be a #3 center with Dallas if Tom Wandell's recovery from a knee injury is slower than expected.
