Bartulis' 2010-11 campaign was shortened in February with a dislocated shoulder that required surgery to repair. In the 13 games he actually dressed for, Bartulis failed to manage a point and turned in a lackluster rating of minus-4. He played for the Latvian national team this summer, indicating that he's healthy, but he's still likely to be one of the last blueliners to make the Flyers' roster out of training camp.
