Marcou is a prime example of why a player shouldn’t be judged purely on physique. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound winger accumulated a whopping 130 points (34 G, 96 A) with UMass of Hockey East between the 2007-10 seasons. Since then, the playmaker has gone pro with AHL Worcester and remains an intriguing prospect within the Sharks’ organization. But hopefully, by the start of the regular season, he can put his post-concussion issues to rest.
