Cervenka agreed to a three-year deal with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL on Wednesday, Sportsnet Radio FAN 960 reports.
ANALYSIS
One of the top signings from the KHL last season, Cervenka's transition to the NHL was a rocky one, as he managed 17 points in an injury-riddled 39 games. He's still young enough to surface again in North America, but it appears he's simply more comfortable staying overseas for now.

2012 Fantasy Outlook
The Flames are extremely high on Cervenka, who played in the KHL the past two seasons. In 2011-12, he had 39 points in 54 games but turned it on during the playoffs with 22 points in 20 games. He has a shot at the Flames open No. 2 center slot, and should spend quite a bit of time, if not the whole season, with the Flames in 2012-13. If he can convert his KHL game to the NHL, he has definite fantasy potential.
