ANALYSIS
Friberg was selected by Ducks in the fifth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He only ended up appearing in six games with the Ducks and hasn't played at hockey's highest level of competition since Nov. 13. Still, he's known as a fast and gritty winger with a strong work ethic. Friberg had a chance to showcase his offensive talent with AHL San Diego, notching five goals and 12 assists in 25 games this season. Now, he'll join Montreal's minor-league affiliate, the St. John's Ice Caps, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

2012 Fantasy Outlook
Friberg opened a lot of eyes at the 2012 World Junior Championship. He was one of the catalysts for Team Sweden and did it all, scoring goals, laying hits and torpedoing forechecks. He's small (5-11), but absolutely relentless, and his talent could make him a top-six NHL forward in the future. For now, he'll continue to grow his game at home.
