ANALYSIS
This is Broadhurst's sixth year of pro hockey, and he's played just two games in the NHL while spending the rest in the minors. The 25-year-old center is having a respectable season for AHL Cleveland with 29 points in 48 games. The Jets are stellar down the middle, so Broadhurst will initially report to AHL Manitoba and stay there for the remainder of the campaign.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
The AHL veteran finally made his NHL debut last season, albeit for only two games in which he saw limited ice time. Originally acquired by Columbus in the first Brandon Saad deal back in 2015, Broadhurst may not have the size and grit to ever carve out a regular role with the big club, but he's a slick skater who's flashed some intriguing offensive creativity in the AHL. He'll likely serve as a depth player in 2018-19, but if injuries hit the Blue Jackets' forward ranks hard, he could get a real chance to show what he can do at the highest level.
