2017 Fantasy Outlook
A 2015 fifth-round pick, Opilka was added to the Blues’ roster for depth during last year’s playoffs, but he spent the entire run watching from the press box. The 20-year-old netminder has played the last two seasons in the Ontario Hockey League, posting unimpressive stats -- including last year’s awful .889 save percentage and 3.58 GAA -- making it obvious that Opilka will need a lot more development in the minors before he’s ready for big-league action.
