2018 Fantasy Outlook
The 2015 second-round pick saw his first NHL action last year after finishing up his college career, suiting up for six games down the stretch and then taking a regular shift in all five games during the Wild's first-round series against the Jets. A huge physical presence at 6-foot-6, Greenway wasn't afraid to throw his weight around at Boston U and showed good offensive skills as well, scoring 92 points in 112 games. The 21-year-old can skate well enough but should improve in that area with some AHL seasoning, and it may not be long before he's pushing for a spot in Minnesota, with the potential for some power-play time if he proves to be hard to dislodge from the front of the net. Greenway finished with a goal in Thursday's 3-2 win over Winnipeg.
ANALYSIS
The 21-year-old scored the game's first goal, and with it, now has three points in his first five games of the new year. Currently sitting at eight goals and 14 points through 42 games, Greenway continues to learn on the fly in what is his first full NHL season. The youngster has been used sparingly in 2018-19, averaging 12:39 of ice time and just 0:26 with the man advantage. That said, he should only get better with time, so holding onto him is advisable, especially for those competing in dynasty formats.
