2019 Fantasy Outlook
Senyshyn, who was taken 15th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, got his first taste of NHL action last season, notching a goal in two games with the big club. He recorded a modest 14 goals and 24 points in 66 games with AHL Providence last campaign, but the organization's focus was on the 22-year-old developing his all-around game. Blazing speed and good scoring instincts are Senyshyn's top traits and attributes that could land him a spot with the big club this coming season. Read Past Outlooks

Senyshyn (lower body) will not return to Tuesday's game versus the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear at this time how severe Senyshyn's injury is. He skated only 4:46 in the contest before suffering the injury. The 22-year-old's status should be updated prior to the Bruins' next game Friday versus the Maple Leafs.

The 2015 first-rounder's numbers -- including 12 goals and 26 points in 66 games for AHL Providence this past season -- weren't anything special, but the 21-year-old did show glimpses of his offensive potential and retains a high ceiling as a prospect thanks to his blazing wheels and 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame. The Bruins noticeably passed on both Mathew Barzal and Kyle Connor in order to select Senyshyn 15th overall in 2015, which continues to irk some Boston fans, but the pick no longer looks like the sort of reach it was portrayed as at the time. Based on his level of production in his first pro campaign, Senyshyn should start next season in the minors. That said, we'd expect the speedster to take his game to the next level in 2018-19, much as he did in his second full slate in the OHL with Sault Ste. Marie, when he potted 45 goals in 66 contests.
When the Bruins selected Senyshyn 15th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, many pundits criticized the pick as a reach. With the 6-foot-3, 196-pounder having logged back-to-back 40-plus-goal campaigns with OHL Sault Ste. Marie, that negative chatter has largely subsided. While the 20-year-old likely needs some seasoning at the AHL level, his dynamic speed and goal-scoring upside make him a potential fantasy contributor once he adjusts to the physical rigors of the pro game.
Senyshyn, a 2015 first-rounder, is coming off a 45-goal campaign with OHL Sault Ste. Marie and could push for a spot up front with the B's as soon as this coming season. Speed and a knack for goal-scoring are the main assets that make Senyshyn -- who turns 20 next March -- one of the B's top forward prospects. If Senyshyn, who is bouncing back from mono and an appendectomy, can stay healthy, the youngster could emerge as a fantasy sleeper in the coming months. He's already firmly on the keeper radar, having largely quieted critics who viewed where the Bruins took him in the draft last summer as a reach.
Senyshyn, who the Bruins surprisingly drafted 15th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, enjoyed a strong showing at Bruins' Development Camp in July. In the process, he displayed excellent speed, a trait that the team clearly coveted, given that Senyshyn wasn't viewed as first-round material by most draft observers. The swift-skating 18-year-old is ticketed for another OHL season with Sault Ste. Marie, on the heels of a 2014-15 campaign in which he notched 26 goals and 45 points in 66 games.
