Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Rasmus Asplund

Jason Chen recaps the odds and ends from the week in hockey, including Arizona's acquisition Taylor Hall from the Devils on Monday.

The Blackhawks' defense has looked awful, so Jason Chen figures Rasmus Dahlin will be selected on many entries.

Jon Litterine ranks the NHL's top prospects as we head into the 2018-19 season. Fear not, Sabres fans, Rasmus Dahlin should be an impact player from the get go.
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Asplund begins his NHL journey after scoring 28 points in 50 games for Farjestad BK (SHL) and will likely begin the season with AHL Rochester as a 20-year-old. The Swedish center is known for his responsible two-way play and despite his young age profiles as one the team's most reliable forwards. Going forward, Asplund will be the ideal No. 3 center behind Jack Eichel and Casey Mittelstadt, but that's more than a couple years down the road. The Sabres are rather thin at center so if help is needed don't be surprised if Asplund is called up for some short-term relief.
