Boston Bruins
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Studnicka, who the Bruins took 53rd overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, finished off his junior career with a splash, posting a 36-47-83 stat line in 60 games split between OHL Oshawa and Niagara in 2018-19. As a result, the 6-foot-1, 171-pounder has risen to the top of the Bruins' prospect ranks, and could make a run at spot with the big club this coming season. Even if he does require some AHL seasoning before making the leap to the NHL, Studnicka could parlay his heady two-way skills into a regular role with the Bruins as the 2019-20 season rolls along. On track to be a healthy scratch
CBoston Bruins
August 5, 2020
Studnicka isn't in line to suit up for Wednesday's game against the Lightning, Eric Russo of the Bruins' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The 21-year-old saw second-line work in Sunday's loss to the Flyers, but he'll be scratched Wednesday, which paves the way for Nick Ritchie to re-join the lineup. It remains to be seen when Studnicka's next lineup opportunity will come, but for now coach Bruce Cassidy is still tinkering with his lines with the B's attack looking sluggish since play resumed.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Studnicka, who the Bruins took 53rd overall in the 2017 NHL Entry draft, led the WHL's Oshawa Generals in scoring last season with 72 points (including 22 goals) while serving as team captain. The 19-year-old needs some seasoning before making the leap to the big club, but the 6-foot-1, 171-pounder projects as a heady two-center at the NHL level and there's even been buzz that he could be a dark-horse candidate to secure a gig at the top level as soon as this season.
